Cliff dwellings and hiking at Mesa Verde, a days ride from some chill temporary digs in bike friendly Durango. Probably not the easiest national park to visit by bike (the sites are 20 miles from the campsites, along steep and winding mountain roads, & hitching is not permitted!), but thankfully met friendly folks with transport both days. After pedaling 80 miles to Bluff, Utah today, getting ready to explore the Valley of the Gods, Cedar Mesa and soon enough Natural Bridges.
